Strengthening Alumni Connections Since 1993
Founded in 1993, AKUAANA began as a small alumni initiative dedicated to strengthening connections among Aga Khan University graduates in North America. Over the years, the organization expanded through alumni reunions, academic collaborations, mentorship programs, and community service initiatives.
Advancing Professional, Academic & Philanthropic Excellence
In 2000, AKUAANA was formally inducted as a component society of APPNA, further strengthening its professional and academic presence. Today, the association continues to support alumni engagement, leadership, philanthropy, and educational development across North America and globally.
